I've always admired the automobiles my dad builds. He is a master craftsman and mechanic and has an uncanny eye for seeing an automobiles full-potential. He has had a number of project cars that I can remember including a 1970 Pontiac Trans-Am with a 455HO motor, a 1974 Chevrolet 1/2-ton step-side truck with a supercharged 400, a 1988 Mazda B2200 that has seen 1 V6 Buick and 2 Small Block Chevy's, the current motor a high-compression 400, and even a 1953 International Truck on a lifted suspension. All of his vehicles fast, mean, and clean.
Following in his foot-steps, I have set out to build my own cool rides. Like my dad's projects, both my current vehicles are unlikely candidates of receiving the amount of money and attention that an everyday car driver would ever understand. I like to call these select groups of people who devote their free time and hard-earned cash to car projects that don't make sense, exclusive members of the "more money than brains club."
